Prosecutor accuses former Argentina President Cristina Kirchner for money laundering

Prosecutor Guillermo Marijuán asked to investigate former Argentina President Cristina Kirchner and former Planning Minister Julio De Vido, after extensive testimony by witness Leonardo Fariña before the judge Casanello.

Fariña declared for 12 hours until late at night, and it was learned that his statement was fundamental to the case.

Financier Ernesto Clarens, former Lázaro Báez’ partner was also accused by the prosecutor.

The former president is being investigated for alleged money laundering in the case known as Route of K money, that was initiated by a newspaper report, led by journalist Jorge Lanata and Nicolas Wiñazki.
