The demonstration that had begun without incident ended with violent clashes with police, leaving at least 80 injured, Ministry of Health sources said.

The embassy was attacked as part of a conflict that took place on the border with Israel and a recent fight in a football game. The protesters jumped the walls surrounding the embassy building and entered to remove the flags of the neighboring nation.

An earthquake of 6.7 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred off the coast of Vancouver, Canada, while no injuries or considerable material damage was reported so far.

The epicenter of the quake was in the Pacific Ocean 135,46 miles of Vancouver, in the North American country West Coast.

The buildings in the downtown swayed sparking panic in some people, but there was not important damage according to first reports.

Despite being generated in the ocean, the quake did not trigger a tsunami warning.

Security authorities are trying to locate three terrorists who are suspected of planning a truck bomb attack in the US for the tenth anniversary of September 11. Federal authorities said that “there is a U.S. citizen among the suspects, arrived in the country last month by air with the ‘intention’ to carry out a terrorist plot against Washington, DC or New York.”

Reports suggest that the potential plot is connected to Al Qaeda.

The United Nations concluded that the presumed sexual abuse of a young Haitian man by ”blue helmets” of Uruguay was just a ”joke” and that no crime was committed, but only “misconduct.”

The research report released on Thursday September 8th by the UN, the Uruguayan Navy and Ministry of Defence revealed that only misconduct was involved and there was no crime.

The young Haitian confirms have been violated by the Uruguayan peacekeepers on 20 July on a UN baseon the southern coast of Haiti. This wasn’t known until by chance the release of the video taken by a cellphonecamera launched on September 6 by M24Digital.

At least 44 people died after a plane caught fire at Tuloshna airport in the Yaroslavl region, police sources said.

The plane, a Yak-42 belonging to the Yak-Service company, transported 8 crew and 37 passengers, who belonged to ice hockey team Lokomotiv.

Only one person survived the tragedy, the sources said, while witnesses declared that the aircraft was engulfed in flames after takeoff. Then it fell to earth about two kilometers from the airport.

Broken bodies and part of the fuselage were found in Volga River, while the tasks in place continue to get the first data to carry on an investigation and understand what went wrong.

Steven Grisales, an Argentine student of 21 years old was killed by a stab in the heart on August 31 in Edmonton city when he asked a group of youths to stop throwing dried fruit on him.

The savage incident occurred when Steven was going to the local train station, known as Silver Street, where he was intercepted by a group of teenagers who began throwing chestnuts. The young man asked them to stop doing so and one of them approached him and stabbed him in the heart.

The Argentine student was rushed to Royal London Hospital but his heart did not resisted and died the next day.

Steven was in London to undertake a course of architecture in three years at Westminster College. He had arrived to the English capital last July.

The Scotland Yard, the Metropolitan Police in London, arrested four young people who could be related to the crime: a 16-year-old girl, two 15-year-old boys and another of 19.

On this day thousands of Israelis marched through the downtown streets in demand of reforms in taxation and education, a change in labor laws and low cost to purchase or rent a home, a product of Minister BenjaminNetanyahu’s neoliberal policy.

Organizers exceeded the figure of 450 thousand people over the 300 thousand who hadgone last month, in what was the largest demonstration in history for reasons unrelated to the conflict in the Middle East.

The biggest demonstration was in Tel Aviv, where about 300 000 people gathered inKikar Hamedina Square in the center of the city. Protesters carried banners that read “People Power” or messages to the Prime Minister “Bibi Netanyahu, go home” and shouted slogans like ”We want social justice.”

This protest, the largest one, joins a series of marches by demonstrators during the Israeli summer. The first was held in July in the city of Tel Aviv.

Belgian Mayor Ilse Uyttersprot was filmed while having sex with her partner in the tower of Olite Royal Palace, Navarra.

A tourist, who also visited the site, took images with her camera and saw a couple having sex in a tower and recorded the scene. The incident occurred four years ago but the video came to light recently and unleashed a scandal.

The mayor acknowledged that the woman on the video was her writing on her Twitter: “I have nothing to say. It is a private scene with my partner. The issue is politically irrelevant.”

Britain releases 1,550 million dollars of Gaddafi government

The Sanctions Committee of the UN authorized the request made by the UK to release 1,550 million dollars in Libyan money.

This money was blocked from being ordered freeze the assets of Moammar Gadhafi government.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UK, “The money will be sent to the Central Bank of Libya.”
