The 60 line workers decided not to comply with the mandatory settlement issued by the Ministry of Labour and announced protests for today.

This will serve three-day strike affecting 300,000 daily users who take this bus.

Union leader Angel Perticaro said workers will not block streets at the moment because they expect a further meeting with Labor Minister Carlos Tomada and Transport Minister Juan Pablo Schiavi, hoping that the conflict is resolved.

The Ministry of Labour issued last night the mandatory conciliation and urged the company to pay an advance, within five days, of $600 for each driver by poor payroll.

Buenos Aires lawmakers are working on a project that encourages drivers not to risk going through a low barrier. The penalties that would apply would be up to $ 1,200 for individuals and $ 6,000 for public transport.

The initiative is in the Justice Committee of the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires. This is an amendment to the Code of Misdemeanor and the Code of Failure.

Alert is declared at Federal Capital, central and northern Buenos Aires, northeast of Cordoba, Entre Rios, Santa Fe and Rio de La Plata.

According to the agency “bad weather conditions will continue during the first part of Saturday, a day which will be presented with cloudy skies, rain and chance of thunderstorms during the morning, then rain and drizzle.”

“The moderate winds from the northern sector will change to regular the southern sector, with gusts into the evening which will generate a significant drop in temperature. Minimum 14, maximum 18″.

A serious accident occurred in Bajo Flores neighborhood between a truck, a bus line 76 and the tram, police said to M24Digital.

Daniela Loayza, the 13 year old missing girl last Wednesday in Villa Lugano (Buenos Aires, Argentina) was found in Bolivia, after being kidnapped by her stepfather’s brother.

Daniela had left her house to go to school at 8 am and since then her whereabouts was unknown until today.

A neighbor said she saw the child with an adult of 30 years old, about five blocks from her home. The man would have said to Daniela “Come here” and took her with him.

The authorities have not reported details of her current whereabouts, only that she was found in the neighboring nation and in good condition.

Security Minister Nilda Garre will give a press conference giving details of the case in the coming hours.

Yesterday a bus line 92 crossed tracks with low barriers and was hit by the Sarmiento railroad train at Flores station, causing a tragedy.

According to a video of the Metropolitan Police about the accident that caused the death of 11 people and wounded 228, “The barrier had problems from 2:00 am on Tuesday, because they were stuck at an angle of 45 degrees. In fact, the images show how a garbage truck broke through part of the device at the level crossing.”

“The flares did not work properly because in the video warning lights are permanently activated, even though train traffic wasn’t continuous.”

An agent was in charge of ordering the traffic in this level crossing until 15 minutes before the accident that took place around 6:15 am.

Video images, contradicts the version given by the company Trains of Buenos Aires (TBA), who noted that the accident could be the result of the negligence of the bus driver, which did not stop even though the stop sign was activated.

This morning at 6:30 am there was a tragic accident, where a bus of line 92 would have passed with low barriers and was struck by a train of the Sarmiento line, dragging it to the Flores station where hit another train that was stopped.

This occurred at the junction of Artigas St., in Flores neighborhood, so far it is estimated that over 170 people were injured and at least 9 died.

The injured were taken to hospitals Durand, Pinero, Alvarez, Santojanni, Ramos Mejía and Penna.

SAME head Alberto Crescenti, who works at the site, confirmed that “there are at least 100 persons with injuries of varying degrees and there were reports of dead people.”

Crescenti confirms that the situation is under control and the place was clear to allow a helicopter landing.

Authorities confirm the death of a nineth person, the total number of wounded is 162, and 20 people are in serious condition.

The 48 neighborhoods of the city have their coats after 21 years of have been signed the decree for its establishment.

Shields, elected by the residents, represent the symbolism of the neighborhood’s identity and their membership in Buenos Aires. This was announced by the government of the City of Buenos Aires today.

In 1989, through Decree 2227 it was approved by the organization of neighborhood participation days to encourage participation of citizens and intermediate bodies in the search for an emblem that would identify and recreate the sense of belonging, based on its history and tradition.

Until 2007 had been approved a dozen shields, but now completed 48.

Daniel Lipovetzky, Secretary of Human Rights, Inclusion and city government, said: “The Passion for Buenos Aires Programme aims to create shields to affirm the history and cultural traditions, ethnic and sports every neighborhood has. A group of hackers had access to the Twitter account of NBC and put a false message about a new attack at Ground Zero in New York, where ten years ago the Twin Towers collapsed after the biggest terrorist attack in history.

The group called “The Script Kiddies” claimed responsibility for hacking, which consisted of three messages about planes hijackings that hit Ground Zero after six o’clock, local time.

NBC issued a statement saying that its crew was working on Twitter to correct the situation and called for sincere apologies for the fear that such an irresponsible act could have caused.

“The Script Kiddies” is a branch of the group “Anonymous” and is not the first time they hacked the account of a news channel. In July they did the same with Fox News, at that time for falsely reporting that the U.S. president had been assassinated.

A truck fell from the Zárate Brazo Largo Bridge at a height of 55 meters, and the driver miraculously saved his life.

Some people passing by the place looked astonished how the vehicle fell from that altitude, the highest point of the bridge and smashed on impact with the ground.

In principle, the witnesses were afraid to approach due to the possibility of an explosion, but noting that nothing happened, went to see the destroyed truck and were able to spot the driver, who was alive and asked to please somebody rescue him.

Three cars and a truck crashed this morning leaving four people dead and two injured. The accident took place on Route 33, between Sanford and collided Casilda at 4.50 am.

A team of scientists from the U.S., Argentina and Portugal solved the mystery that has long intrigued more than one investigator.

In the fifteenth century by monks in southern Germany, used the yeast ‘Saccharomyces cerevisiae’, and was used to make bread, wine and ale beers.

Experts German brewers stored barrels in caves and cellars and there they made a discovery that would forever change the history of the drink: a new hybrid bacteria, Saccharomyces pastorianus, which could withstand low temperatures and thus able to elaborate a new type of beer known as lager, from the German word ‘lagern’ (store), which is served cold and is now one of the most popular drinks around the planet.

Chris Todd Hittinger, a member of the research said “The researchers looked for this yeast for decades. And now we’ve found it and we can not say for sure if it also exists in other places.”

Diego Libkind from the Institute of Biodiversity and Environmental Research (Inibioma) in Bariloche, Argentina, discovered the beeches, Patagonian trees, a species of yeast that corresponded perfectly to the enigmatic progenitor of lager yeast. The new species was named Saccharomyces eubayanus.

Libkind explained that “This yeast seems to thrive and ferment spontaneously in the bulbs high in sugars called gills, which arise when the insects lay their eggs on the tree leaves. When they mature to much, fall to the ground together, where they often form a thick carpet that has a strong smell of ethanol, most likely due to the hard work of our new S. eubayanus.”

The samples were sent to the School of Medicine, University of Colorado, where a team that included Hittinger sequenced its genome.

Hittinger said that “It is different from all known species, but 99.5% identical to the genome of lager yeast that does not correspond to S. cerevisiae.”

The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences published a comprehensive study of this research.

At least 12 people died in a crash involving an aircraft of First Air, which took place in Resolute Bay in the Arctic territory of Nunavut.

The plane had left Yellowknife and was traveling to Resolute Bay when it rushed to the ground by unknown casus. Rescuers in the city of Ontario already move toward the scene to try to rescue possible survivors of the tragedy.

Three passengers of the 15 people on board (four crew members) would come out alive from the accident but is not known with certainty what their health status is.

A school in Barracas neighborhood suffered a collapse in its roofs on at least four classrooms, which is a real miracle as no student was injured.

This is the School Nº 3 “Bernardo de Irigoyen” located on 400 Montes de Oca Avenue, witnesses said to M24Digital.

The incident took place at noon when a heavy storm was over Buenos Aires City in which there was hail fall and a lot of rain.

According the witnesses consulted by M24Digital the building had four stories but after the collapse it is pile of rubble.

A worker was trapped and suffered some wounds but SAME staff transferred him to Alvarez Hospital. SAME director Alberto Cerscenti said he is out of danger.
