Kicillof told details of his reunion in the IMF
At a press conference, Economy Minister Axel Kicillof told some details of his meeting with representatives of other countries in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and remarked: “There was no such thing as an agreement because we were not looking for anything.”
The official said that he held regular meetings with representatives of other countries, where he explained his concern about the pace of the global economy, despite showing signs of improvement, still walks through a tightrope.
“First, we expressed our concern about the drop in the activity from developed countries to emerging economies “he said.
On the other hand, he added: “We talk about issues related to inequality, investment in infrastructure and also expressed our concern about the problems of poverty in the world. If the plan is to withdraw stimulus we will have more poverty”.
“In Argentina stimulus policies must be strengthened to win the fight against inequality” he said and concluded: “It generates more employment and the cycle is played. This participation should be supported and assisted by development banks and public banks. “
