Macri criticized pickets and said the strike “does not work”
Mayor Mauricio Macri questioned today in conversation with Radio Mitre, transit cuts being made today in the context of the general strike called by the CGT (General Confederation of Labor) of Hugo Moyano and Luis Barrionuevo.
Macri also said that the strike did not work because “the government will not change the situation.”
“In Argentina is sick of authoritarianism picket. If someone wants to work, it cannot due to the threat by several pickets. They are threats to avoid,” said the leader of the PRO party.
On the other hand, he acknowledged that the city was “empty due to cuts and transport strike” but stressed that “schools are open.”
“I agree with the contents of the complaint. We knew that inflation would bring this, but we know that strike will not change anything. This is changed to another form of government. Strike is an internal fight inside Peronism” he added.
