United States: 20 students stabbed in Franklin High School




In Pittsburgh, in Franklin High School, 20 students were stabbed and four remain in critical condition. According to local sources, a young entered with a knife and wounded his peers.

The Director of Emergency of Westmoreland County, Dan Stevens, said that “not all the injured suffered stabbings” but added “some suffered minor cuts.” On the other hand, stressed that the injured are between 14 and 17 years old.

The incident took place at 7.20 am, at which time the media began to know what happened.

The suspect was taken into custody and is being questioned, but did not say yet what motivated him to make such a decision.

While several helicopters transported the injured to hospital, Stevens said the victims are out of danger.

For its part, the school issued a statement saying: “A terrible incident occurred . The institution will close its elementary, middle and high school.”
