School classes start after 17 days of strike
The 2014 school year began today in Buenos Aires, after the unions accepted the latest pay offer from the Government of Scioli.
After 17 days of strike, the teachers of Buenos Aires returned to school today. After the wage agreement reached with the government of Daniel Scioli, was scheduled a meeting between representatives of both sectors to discuss how to make up the days without school activity.
“We will discuss with the educational authorities of a pedagogical recovery and hope to reach an agreement” said the leader of Suteba Roberto Baradel .
“We believe we could make improvements to the education system of government schools because we prescribed infrastructure and money to get agreement with the school” said the union leader.
