Teachers unions confirmed the strike for today


The teachers unions began today their second day of strike. Thousands of kids are classless. UDA, Sadop, CEA and AMET, meanwhile, returned to the classroom.

The teachers of the guild CTERA today hold its second consecutive day of strike in 19 provinces, with different levels of compliance, after the failure in the joint with the national government.

After the first day of strike, which yesterday postponed the start of classes in most schools in the country, the government summoned them to a new meeting next Wednesday to continue negotiations on the wage for teachers.

Yesterday four of the five unions that make up the National Front teachers complied with the mandatory conciliation and called off the strike, but Ctera, which is the majority force, challenged the measure and confirmed the strike today.
