The Queen of England will visit Pope Francisco in April
England, February 4, 2014
The Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen of England will visit on April 3, Francis Pope in the Vatican, a day after the commemoration of the 32 years of the Falklands War.
“The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, will visit Rome on April 3 and will hold an audience with the Pope Francisco at the Vatican” reported the British Crown through its press office.
The invitation was made by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, who also will meet her in a private lunch.
The Queen is 87 years and now, for her health, travels as little as possible. The last time she traveled was in 2011, to Australia.
Despite her condition, the Crown will visit Rome and France from 5 to 7 June, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Allied landings on the French coast of Normandy.
