Dylan Farrow, for the first time spoke publicly about the sexual abuse to which she was submitted by the director, producer and actor Woody Allen: “He told me to lie down on my belly and play with an electric train. Then, he sexually assaulted me.”
The adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen, now 28, accused him of having sexually abused her as a child, over 20 years ago.
“When I was seven, Woody Allen took my hand and led me to the second floor of our house. He told me I lie down on my belly and play with an electric train. Then he sexually assaulted me” said the young.
“He spoke to me whispering things that I was a good girl, this was our secret promising that we would go to Paris and that I would be a movie star” she added.
The history between Allen and Farrow did not end well. In 1992, Mia accused him of assaulting her daughter, but the accusations got media coverage when Allen’s relationship with her other adopted daughter, Soon- Yi Previn, came to light.
However, the actor was never legally charged. For his part, he always denied assaulting Dylan. In 1995, after three years of conflict, a court in New York withdrew the right to see Dylan regularly as she rejected his visits.
