Cristina Kirchner had lunch with Cuban leader Fidel Castro

Argentina’s president, who is in Cuba to attend the Summit of CELAC, said today that she was invited to have lunch with Fidel Castro. The lunch was held at the residence of the Cuban leader, which also involved Florencia Kirchner, daughter of Cristina.
“Fidel invited me to have lunch” said Cristina Kirchner to the Argentine media, after which she left to the meeting.
The president is in Cuba to participate in the II Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which will be held from 28 to 29 January in the presence of heads of state and representatives from 33 countries region.
During the meeting, it is expected to be signed more than twenty documents related to issues such as the blockade of Cuba, Argentina’s sovereignty over the Falkland Islands, the participation of Puerto Rico in the CELAC, food sovereignty and the declaration of Latin America and the Caribbean as a zone of peace.
