Bossio: “Progresar plan goes far beyond youth who neither work nor study”


ANSeS director Diego Bossio said the Proceed plan announced by the president is “a new law which goes far beyond youth who neither work nor study”, representing one third of the 1.5 million possible beneficiaries.

In an interview published by Page 12, Bossio explained that “Proceed to cover 1,555,817 boys between 18 and 24 years, the age group with the highest rate of unemployment and integrating the lowest income decile of the whole society.”

With a budget of National Treasures of 11,000 million pesos, the plan aims to support the study of a half million young people across the country, of which 35 percent did not complete high school, 11 percent did not complete 500,000 primary and neither study nor work.
