“We seek to ensure that there is wheat in the table of Argentines”
The chief of staff, Jorg Capitanich, said the move of the national government on export 500 thousand tons of wheat, seeks to “ensure that there is enough on the table to ensure the Argentines an indispensable good wheat” which is the bread.
“With the wheat becomes flour and bread is made of flour,” remarked the chief ministers in his regular press conference at Government House.
And he responded to criticism of the agricultural sector to the measure. “There were complaints that the exports are not authorized and complain when opened. We really want to know whether they agreed or not,” demanded the coordinating minister.
“The State manages a resource that is strategic,” said Capitanich and considered the decision “is an absolute rationality.”
