Government announces a price agreement in staples
The federal government announced Friday an agreement with supermarkets, food companies and producers of cleaning rates to manage nearly 200 staples.
The announcement to be made Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich with Minister of Economy Axel Kicillof , and Commerce Secretary Augusto Costa, in a ceremony to be held at Government House, in Friday morning, officials said .
The agreement in the first stage include the City of Buenos Aires and Greater Buenos Aires, and then it will spread to the rest of the country.
Initially large supermarket to be involved, while from mid January the so called ” Chinese supermarkets” will be incorporated .
The basket will reach about 170 products, all necessities. Food and drink items explain three quarters of the total bid .
