Massa criticized again the prices agreement
Argentina, December 22, 2013
Massa’s environment criticized again the deal of prices set by the government in order to slow the rate of inflation from January.
Martin Redrado, former president of the Central Bank and now economic adviser of the Renewal Front, said “it is impossible to lower inflation setting prices” adding “the investment is key to overcoming that problem.”
The price agreement announced Friday at Government House covers more than 175 basic food products but still has not specified their sales values.
Sergio Massa himself had criticized the measure after considering that: “The price agreement is a policy of Moreno without Moreno.”
