The Chinese government calls the Argentine protect traders by looting

The Chinese government asked the Argentine Executive to ‘concretely protect the safety and interests of Chinese citizens’ in the country, following the looting and death of an Asian businessman during the wave of robberies at supermarkets.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Hong Lei said during a lecture given in Beijing, “New Year is a peak time for instances of public insecurity in Argentina.”

Given the many merchants who suffered looting of that nationality in different provinces, the Asian chancery with the Chinese Embassy said, “we will continue to ask to Argentina to protect the safety and interests of Chinese citizens.”
