World’s largest dog ‘Giant George’ dies
Giant George was recognized in 2010 by the Guinness World Records as the world’s biggest dog. The Great Dane ‘Giant George’ had a height of 110 centimeters and a weight of 111 kilograms.
Despite his size, George avoided the other dogs and was afraid of the water. He slept in a double bed, and on the plane occupied three passenger seats.
When the dog stood on his hind legs reaching a height of nearly two meters 21 centimetersm he was taller than most of the people living on the planet.
He visited such popular programs as Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and Live with Regis and Kelly, becoming recognized worldwide.
The sad news was announced by its owners, in Arizona, USA who thanked the support and respect for the sad moment.
Not reported on the causes of death. George Giant was 8 years old.
