Argentina, October 26, 2013
Horacio González, director of the National Library, suffered cardiocirculatory complications, but remains stable. The incident occurred while he was in Panama to participate in the VI International Congress of the Spanish Language.
By the time it was learned that his wife, Liliana Herrero, traveled the Central American country to accompany her husband.
Argentina’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that his health remains stable. However, he’ll be hospitalized and under observation until Monday. That day, doctors will evaluate whether he can come back to Argentina or not.
A few days before traveling, Gonzalez had been involved with the Deputy Governor Gabriel Mariotto and philosopher José Pablo Feinmann of a panel of discussion on “National Thought and Politics in the XXI Century in Argentina.” It was held on October 15 in the Annex to the Upper House of Buenos Aires, in La Plata.
