Authorities moved the polls to schools for parliamentary elections
The polls for parliamentary elections on Sunday were taken this morning from the Patricios Regiment, in the neighborhood of Palermo, to all schools where people will vote.
As part of a joint operation of the Army, the Electoral Justice and Correo Argentino, over 40 trucks transported the 7,342 ballot boxes to be distributed to 794 places where people will in Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.
The distribution of the polls was conducted from 8:00 on Saturday, although the operation began last Friday afternoon, when they were loaded onto trucks .
The custody of the truck depends on the Federal Police, which also form part of the 8,500 members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Border Police who will be responsible for ensuring the security of the elections.
