Newborn Qom was burned in an precarious incubator
A newborn of Qom community was burned after being placed in a incubator at a hospital in Pampa del Indio town, Chaco province.
The baby, who was healthy, died seven days after birth in normal delivery in Dante Tardelli hospital. He was placed in a precarious incubator that actually was a crib, with six fluorescent lamps, a blanket and a stove.
The boy’s mother reported the incident while she had been hospitalized due to an infection after delivery.
The baby was born at 6:00 am on October 4th and passed away on October 12 at dawn, after several hours of crying.
He had chest burned and the same nurse, who was detained for a few hours, said she felt burning smell, a bug burned.”
Local Justice arrested the nurse in charge, but a few hours later she was released.
