Tourism left 751 million pesos in the long weekend

In the fifth weekend throughout the year, tourism mobilized 751 million pesos. The sum benefits regional economies, as was declared by the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises.
According to the organization, it grew 8.5 percent the number of people who traveled by Argentina in the fifth weekend throughout the year and in the three-day mini vacation was spent 751 million pesos, while the related retail tourism improved by 3.5 percent.
The average expenditure per person was 335 pesos and average stay of 2.5 days. It should be noted that 95 percent of families who traveled chose domestic destinations, being the province of Buenos Aires the region with more arrivals, followed by the North, Cuyo, Litoral and Center.
So far in 2013, the five long weekends left 7.5 million tourists and revenues of 8.421 million pesos in the cities that make up the national tourist circuit.
