The Iranian government approved the memorandum of understanding for the AMIA case
Argentina, September 28, 2013
Following a meeting between Hector Timerman and his Iranian counterpart, Javad Zarif, Argentina Foreign Ministry confirmed that was approved the memorandum of understanding that would advance the research in the AMIA case.
The Iranian government, meanwhile, reported Saturday that its country has “approved” the memorandum of understanding with Argentina.
The Iranian government announced the agreement in the context of a meeting between the foreign ministers Javad Zarif and Hector Timerman at United Nations headquarters in New York.
Despite the confirmations of both governments, international agencies said the deal is not yet in force because governments need to cross “exchange of notes” that give it its real value.
