Father Grassi described his sentence as “unacceptable”

Today, the priest Julio Cesar Grassi, known as Father Grassi, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault and corruption of minors, described his sentence as “unacceptable”. Meanwhile, the Bishop of Morón said they’ll “continue with legal actions to prove his innocence.”
The diocese to which Grassi belongs informed through a statement: “After this legal setback, Father Grassi contacted this diocese, stating that to continue with the legal actions to prove his innocence, as he believes that the facts motivating his sentence are unacceptable.”
On Monday, the Oral Court No. 1 of Morón will receive the parties of the case in a public hearing.
