Insaurralde spoke about the need of a criminal law for the youth
Argentina, September 8, 2013
Today, the national congressional candidate of the FPV in Buenos Aires, Martin Insaurralde, went to Mirtha Legrand program and talked about the insecurity in the country. Thus, he said “the vulnerability is both for the victim and of these children.”
“We have to discuss a law that has to do with the Youth Criminal Justice System,” said Martin Insaurralde. It should be noted that last Thursday he confirmed that it was considering “a team of candidates and lawyers” for the possible implementation of a law of this nature.
But he said “I do not want to see kids on the street. They should not have the same treatment as an adult, we have to reintegrate them into society” and added “would be from age 14. I want to go to Congress and is one of many issues to discuss. “
“The state should take care of juvenile offenders, so we will drive a juvenile criminal regime that does not exist today in Argentina. Safety is part of the agenda of this government, “said the mayor of Lomas de Zamora.
