Omar Chabán’s lawyer: “He’s very ill, weak and tired”
Argentina, September 1, 2013
Omar Chaban, businessman and former manager of the nightclub Cromañon, who was condemned by the fire that left 94 victims, remains in the hospital Santojanni. In the words of his lawyer Peter D’Attoli “he’s very ill, weak and tired”.
He also said that “today he is weighing 45 kilos, eats with a tube, do not eat food and is in a wheelchair.”
“The idea of doctors is to strengthen the defenses that are very low to tolerate the chemical, but his condition is serious,” he added, in remarks recorded by the agency DyN. “He’s very weak, very emaciated and very run down”.
On the other hand, he confirmed that police custody was lifted in the hospital.
Chaban was suffering continuous fever in Marcos Paz prison and did not eat food. Finally he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma grade 4.
