Key week in the conflict between the government and Lan Argentina
A key week between the government and Lan Argentina due to the hangar at Aeroparque. When the Chilean company plans to file an injunction before the court, the aeronautical unions threatened strikes if there are layoffs.
After receiving the summons Regulatory Agency National Airports System (Orsna) Lan would make a presentation to the Court in order to stop the eviction.
The airline, through a requested said: “In 2008 we built the hangar and it has a contract until 2023, after investing five million dollars. Without that place in Aeroparque, the 14 domestic flights operating from the terminal will become unviable.”
“They hope to continue to keep flying within Argentina; continue to grow, generating more jobs and invest in an industry, in which the rules and regulations are the same for all.”
