The government launched a national security plan
The Government launched a national safety program in order to strengthen public policies to fight crime and criminality in coordination with the provinces and the City of Buenos Aires.
By Decree 1177, published today, President Cristina Kirchner stated: “To support actions, collaboration and cooperation to strengthen public policies on security”.
Moreover, the decree states that “investment will promote the personal efforts and assistance in economic resources involves the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive policy on security”.
As for the parties involved in the program established to be the Security Minister Arturo Puricelli, along with ‘administrative units in each jurisdiction Provincial and / or Municipal, as appropriate, have been constituted and whose functions are equivalent to those of Security Ministry, had the status of executing units’.
The standard stated that “it is necessary to promote a Federal Program Partnership and Security Assistance, whose main objective is to provide the provincial jurisdictions and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires the tools and resources that contribute to combat crime and criminality and also allow generating areas of coordination and interjurisdictional relationship”.
