The new price control creates doubts

Consumer Education Center president Susana Andrade said, “The campaign launched by the government to control prices is just political activists voluntarism that comes to nothing.”
“The police power is on the State. Which penalty will be applied when it is found that businessman increased prices in supermarkets?”
Andrada, on the radio, said that “price controls powered by the Internal Trade Secretariat failed.”
She also criticized the Government for ‘always deny inflation’.
Cristina Kirchner announced that “militant political groups related to the Casa Rosada will be deployed throughout the country to control the fulfillment of the price agreements established by the Government, which reach 500 products.”
Through this initiative, the Government “seeks to look at the prices and care for people’s pockets”.
