President of Argentina Cristina Kirchner noticeably moved, followed closely Bergolio inauguration in the Plaza San Pedro.

Then she greeted with a firm handshake and broke into tears when she apologizes and reiterates “seriously I’m sorry.”

The head of state today witnessed first hand the inauguration of Pope Francis, accompanied by a large entourage at the St. Peter square, in Rome, and was moved when she greeted the new Pontiff.

The president of Argentina, all dressed in black and wearing a hat as protocol mark, sat in the front row ready for the procession, a privilege due to the pope origin.

Then, after the inauguration, Cristina Kirchner was the first president to greet Francis, and was visibly moved, with whom she was having lunch on the eve for over two hours.

During the inauguration ceremony, the head of state was accompanied by Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman, the president of Lower House Julián Domínguez, and the head of the Supreme Court, Ricardo Lorenzetti.
