The world celebrates St. Patrick’s Day

Every year on March 17, the death of the patron saint of Ireland is commemorated, resulting in one of the most famous and emblematic festivals worldwide.
The St. Patrick’s Day dresses to people, animals, rivers and streets of green.
There are impressive parades where adults and children enjoy this Irish holiday, in which also people taste typical food and drink from Ireland.
This day is celebrated worldwide for all Irish and even people who have no Irish ancestry.
In Argentina, largely thanks to the large immigration of Irish and Celtic it is organized big parties in the streets and parks of Buenos Aires and Rosario, as well as elsewhere in the country.
Argentina is the fifth Irish community outside of Ireland, about two million Argentines are recognized with Irish origins, even before the early twentieth century their ancestors have immigrated as “English”, since at that time all of Ireland was subject to the UK.
