Newells defeated River 1-0 in Santa Fe

In an electrifying match, Newells defeated River 1-0 with a goal scored by Scocco in the first half. The striker scored with his right leg before Barovero could reach the ball. The Millonarios had a goal disallowed because Luna scored it with his arm and then they could not tie. At the moment, Lanús is the only pointer.
