Gendarmerie and Prefecture will keep train stations safe

Argentina, March 11, 2013

Today, the Government announced through Randazzo and Berni an increase of police officers that will keep the railway stations safe. So, there will be more military and prefects guarding stations at night.

In addition to the filing of a complaint with the Justice for the “obstruction” of service Sarmiento yesterday afternoon, Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo spoke about the new measure in security issues.

Now, 47 stations will have military officers to ensure better security.

Since tomorrow, the Gendarmerie will be in the stations of Mitre, Sarmiento, Urquiza and Belgrano Sur and Prefecture in the Roca line.
