Carolina Píparo case: The prosecutor said that “there was an attempt to kill her”

According to the prosecutor Marcelo Romero “it was proven that there was an intent to kill Piparo”. The statements were made after carrying out the reconstruction of the event.

“We are convinced that there was intent of killing her. Now, we have to convince the Court,” said the prosecutor investigating the cause. The reconstruction was performed this afternoon in the city of La Plata.

Moreover, he added that “there were some differences” between the declaration of Carolina and her mother’s. “These are not contradictions, are different assessments made towards a highly traumatic situation such as the one they lived,” he said. “We’ll evaluate with the rest of the test,” he concluded.
