Pehuajó: A neighborhood is called ‘President Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias’

Mayor Pablo Zurro confirmed it. It will be the first in Argentina to baptize that way. The main street is called “Latin America Free”.

Pehuajó mayor baptized the neighborhood with the name of the deceased president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.

Zurro told Radio 10 that: “The area is between the streets Facundo Zuviría, Clemente Grand, Esteban Echeverría and Latin America Free. I am Kirchnerist, I’m very attached to the national project and wondering who was Chavez thought the tribute of our part is to put his name to a neighborhood.”

The mayor of Pehuajó clarified that the project swill pas first by the City Council in a special session, where the ruling party had the majority needed for approval.
