The Argentine government video tribute to President Chavez

“We have to be free and leave our son and grandchildren a world in freedom” is the first sentence you hear of Hugo Chavez, in a video tribute by Argentine government to the late Venezuelan president.

The clip of 1 minute 29 seconds was titled “Farewell commander Hugo Chavez, friend of the Argentine people,” showing pictures of the president with Cristina Kirchner, Nestor Kirchner, Lula Da Silva, Evo Morales, among others.

It all comes together around guitar strings that give an air of sadness and melancholy for a time just ended for Venezuela and the region.

At the end, Chavez says with his euphoric voice: “Only together can we defeat imperialism and uplift our people.”
