Cristina Kirchner arrived in Caracas to farewell the president of Venezuela

The President yesterday suspended the planned bilateral meeting with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff on Thursday in El Calafate, and decreed three days of mourning.
Cristina Kirchner arrived in Caracas today to attend the funeral of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who died yesterday at age 58. Along with the Cristina traveled Uruguayan President Jose Pepe Mujica.
The plane carrying the head of state arrived at Maiquetia International Airport “Simón Bolívar” near 5.30 (6.30 Argentina), and Cristina traveled with Uruguayan President Jose ‘Pepe’ Mujica, and First Lady Lucia Topolansky.
Also an important delegation of officials and legislators from Argentina were in the plane including: Luis Delia, the Earth Federation, Housing and Habitat (FTV), the holder of Laborers Union Taxi and union secretary of the CGT, Omar Viviani, and Norberto di Propero, general secretary of the Legislative Staff Association, who were the first to arrive this morning at Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport to travel to Caracas.
Subsequently also traveled CTA head Hugo Yasky; Federal Authority of Audiovisual Communication Services (AFSCA) head Sabbatella Martin, and congressmen Edgardo Depetri and Fernando “Chino” Navarro leader of the Movement Evita.
