AFIP: February Tax revenue reached 60.888 million pesos

Afip reported, “February Tax collection totaled 60.888 million pesos, which means an increase of 28.8 percent over the same period last year.”

The increase in income was boosted by the Value Added Tax (VAT) and Income, and the contributions and Social Security.

The AFIP said: “In the first two months of 2013 were collected 126,570.5 million pesos, 26.4 percent compared with the same period of 2012.”

The Federal Administrator of Public Revenue, Ricardo Echegaray said: “The excellent performance which saw revenues in February, considering that a month is very short, with very few days.”

“This is one of the best February in recent years”, “it was a positive month that, according to the international context.”
