The Government confirmed today that ‘the supply of debt payments to so-called “vulture funds” is the same as in the exchange of 2010′ and stated that ‘the country has capacity to pay, so now it wants to convince the judges and creditors’.

Those who confirmed what the plan of Cristina Kirchner is to end the dispute with vulture funds were the vice president Amado Boudou and Economy Minister Hernan Lorenzino.

Boudou said, “We are not triumphalist, but now we are talking about one of the Argentine arguments and not the payment hundred percent cash. The country has the capacity and willingness to pay, but we have Argentine law and a commitment to the creditors that we will not violate.”

Lorenzino said to Página/12 newspaper, “Equal treatment is to pay everyone the same way and end the issue. So we are going to present to the Court a proposal that is in line with the offer we made in 2010. “

The Court of Appeals of New York called last Friday to Argentina before March 29 to give ‘clarifications’ on the plan to pay off the debt with the vulture funds.
