President of the Association of Magistrates Luis María Cabral said that the project of the ruling would be inconsistent with the Constitution.

His analysis of the projects announced by President Cristina Kirchner start from a personal opinion and he prefers to analyze with details.

“It is clear in the Constitution that the representation of judges (in the Council) is a decision of the judges. I don’t see how this project could be compatible with the Constitution.”

On interim measures, Cabral said in a statement to Radio Mitre, “We can discuss many aspects to ensure no delays. It depends on how the project is raised.”

“The point is that the protection is not back off until the State is privileged over the rights of individuals.”
