A fan of Gimnasia de La Plata, 31, identified as Julio Biscay was killed in a clash in a hot dog stand on Pereyra Iraola Avenue, near the zoo and the stadium Juan Carlos Zerrillo.
The man was rushed to hospital San Martin with a gunshot wound to the thorax, but died when he entered the health center.
In the same incident a 11-year-old boy was also injured by a projectile that struck him in the shoulder blade height, but fortunately he is out of danger.
The incidents took place before the match between Gimnasia and Chicago, and it was suspended following the wave of violence, when the team of La Plata was beating Chicago 4-0. The referee decided to stop the match in the 37th minute of complement.
According to police sources, the fight would not have happened strictly in the field of football violent factions, but by a personal issue. Apparently two men began a discussion and turned away from the crowd, one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other. In between the child was in the fire and was wounded.
The attacker fled after shot and the police seeks to capture him, while also trying to find witnesses who can provide information on the fugitive.
