Pablo Garcia, son of journalist Eduardo Aliverti, on Wednesday appealed the decision of the Court of Misdemeanours Don Torcuato that fined 6,589 pesos and banned him to drive until they determine criminal responsibility in the accident who starred in Pan American highway, which hit and killed a cyclist.
The lawyer Adrian Albor explained that “the decision to appeal is because Garcia could not attend to testify before the judge because that day he served with a warrant of attorney Inés María Domínguez, in charge of the case.”
“The judge knew or should have known that for the moment he had to be somewhere else.”
Garcia was quoted on Monday, to make his rebuttal before Judge Senestrari, for breach of driving drunk when hit by Reinaldo Rodas, the victim.
