Teachers of Buenos Aires begin the school year 2013 throughout the City of Buenos Aires, along with the rest of all provinces except Neuquén.
In assemblies union teachers decided to start classes Wednesday after discuss the Mauricio Macri government’s offer through which they will have wage hikes of between 26 and 31 percent, from March to July.
Unions UTE, UDA and AMET, along with 14 other groups accepted the proposal and agreed to begin wage classes, the only of the 17 district unions who objected was ADEMyS.
The salary for the position will start in March to 3,550 pesos and 4,200 pesos in July, while teachers will receive an increase in the amount fixed by materials, which will be in March of 790 pesos and 925 pesos in July.
