Lucila Frend was acquitted for the murder of her friend Solange

The Court of Criminal Appeal today upheld that Lucila Frend was acquitted after being tried for the murder of her friend Solange Grabenheimer occurred in 2007 in Florida, Buenos Aires province.

Frend’s lawyer, Francisco Garcia Santillan said: “I always knew the decision was going to be this. At least from a technical standpoint, it was very difficult turned a ruling that acquitted Lucila”.

“In the trial were many issues that made it clear Lucila’s innocence. Basically when it comes to the time of death, it was found that there is no possibility that Lucila was in place at the time of the fact that Solange was killed.”

“When we told Lucila about the decision of Cassation, she was traveling from Barcelona to Madrid. She cried.”
