Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman held this afternoon hard crosses those representing the opposition during treatment in commission of the agreement with Iran for the AMIA bombing, to be debated tomorrow in the enclosure.

Due to Gil Lavedra exposures, Pinedo and Carrio, the Chancellor said: “They keep pulling naphtha and using the Holocaust for political ends.”

The plenary Foreign Constitutional Affairs and Justice began at 12:30 with an official speech and then opened the round of questions.

The first opponent in the list was the head of the UCR party, Ricardo Gil Lavedra, who questioned the chancellor after he said that this agreement brings to justice.”

“You can not say that the investigation is the first step of the process, because it ends with the investigation,” emphasized the radical, also asked if the negotiations with Iran had also discussed “other bilateral issues of the relationship between that country and Argentina”.

Timerman replied, “I have not spoken of any other subject. Nothing, we have never tried to sell grain to Iran, as the radicals did.”

The head of PRO party, Federico Pinedo, asked “why the agreement was signed with Iran just Holocaust Day”.

Timerman responds: “Remove your words by saying that I accepted an imposition of the Iranian government. I’m staying until two in the morning because you are offending me. You just offend me in the depths of my being” booed for and against at the scene. “I did not expect a hit so low from you, I thought it would not go that low, we ask that you please remove the words”, the chancellor said to Pinedo.

And Timerman said to opponents: “We see that anyone closed to you died in the Holocaust. Keep pulling naphtha and using the Holocaust for political purposes, you should be ashamed.”

The Civic Coalition congresswoman Elisa Carrio harshly questioned the agreement and said: “Timerman betrayed the Jewish people and the Argentine.” “You had resigned in place before signing this shame.”
