The senator by the Front for Victory Anibal Fernandez said, “The provinces must resolve the teachers conflict,” and defended the position of the Nation before this situation.

According to the legislator, “the nation does not impose an increase, what it does is put a benchmark that is what will define the 24 provinces for their situation.”

Fernandez stressed, “the Pink House helps with funds for salary increases to teachers with 5,200 million pesos per year.”

“And it takes care of itself, which is the teaching and non-teaching staff of universities.”

“Every year wage discussions of teachers unions have the same tenor. So, you have to let the talks continue to flow, but not escape the hard-axis arm the Argentines.”

“You have to let the unions continue talking with each of the provinces, which are the ones that ultimately have to resolve this conflict.”

And that “the suggested increase is 22 percent, but the realization of final salary is the responsibility of provincial authorities.”
