Lidia Medina, one of the accused in Marita Veron’s case, died today

Lidia Medina, one of the accused in the case Marita Verón, died today in La Rioja after suffering a cardiopulmonary arrest. It should be recalled that she had been admitted since Friday.

Medina had been accused of having bought the girl to prostitute her in three nightclubs, all of her property.

She was meeting an arrest for possession of drugs in a prison of La Rioja, but had been hospitalized in the Hospital Vera Barros on Friday after suffering a cardiopulmonary arrest while she was in jail. She remained in intensive care and assisted with a ventilator.

Today was learned the news of her death, which happened at 3:20 pm today after suffering another strike.

Some witnesses mentioned her in the trial and was the only imputed who came to arrest the judgment day.
