Ferrer won the ATP of Buenos Aires after defeating Wawrinka

The Spanish tennis player became champion of the ATP Buenos Aires, thus he defended the title he had won last year. In the final, he defeated Stanislas Wawrinka in three sets. The ATP was played at the Lawn Tennis Club.
He won the match for 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in two hours of play.
Ferrer recovered from a poor start in the first set but Wawrinka was higher in the second and the match was defined in the final set. There, the Spanish imposed his game and became victorious.
“I feel privileged to win the title for the second year in Buenos Aires. It’s not easy and it is an honor. I’m Very happy to come to Argentina because the public treats me as a local player” said Ferrer after his victory.
