Boudou had a verbal exchange with Pichetto in the Senate

Argentina, February 22, 2013

The vicepresident Amado Boudou and the head of the bloc in the Senate, Miguel Angel Pichetto, on Thursday staged a harsh verbal exchange during the special session for the Argentina-Iran agreement.

The episode occurred after Pichetto rejected a request from the UCR to include a project concerned with the tragedy of Once, after which Boudou returned to give the word to the Senator Jose Cano.

At that time, Pichetto-who had already shown annoyed at the attempt to introduce the project of the UCR -reacted by shouting: “The closure is always done by the head of the ruling bloc, you cannot give the word to another senator.”

“Will you come and preside?” Boudou reproached, but the head of the block of the Front for Victory kept repeating “you cannot do that”, so the head of the Chamber challenged him: “See how I can “.

After this crossing, Pichetto moderated his tone and said: “I say respectfully that the regulation clearly states that the closing words must be of the president of the ruling bloc.”
