Timerman: “Argentina Opposition disappoint me”

Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman said today that “Argentina’s opposition disappointed him,” referring to the rejection of the understanding memorandum signed between Argentina and Iran to advance in the AMIA case.

“I am disappointed of Argentina’s opposition,” said the foreign minister and criticized “ignorance and lack of studies in the Senate.”

Last week, in the Senate, there was a plenary commission in which the dictum was approved to treat the agreement on the grounds.

“I hope it is remedied in the House of Representatives,” said Timerman, while confirming his participation in the debate in this area: “It was never in doubt my presence on the Lower House.”
