Federal Judge Oyarbide rejected the releases of Pablo and Sergio Schoklender

Federal Judge Norberto Oyarbide rejected the request of release of brothers Pablo and Sergio Schoklender, both arrested last Thursday accused of diverting public funds of the Foundation Mothers of Plaza de Mayo.

Oyarbide, who signed the order late Friday, shared the arguments of Attorney Jorge Di Lello, who had opposed the release at the approach of an eventual trial, but also because of the seriousness of the crime and a possible interference with research.

Now, the Schoklender brothers have the opportunity to submit an appeal to the Court of the Federal Court, which granted the release last July, after about a few days arrested by order of Oyarbide.
